An unusual banner in several ways, this design is in portrait format and the design will be produced in rich red on a metallic gold fabric. It features a walking Klopp, hand on heart, with a line from the eponymous Sting song – referring, of course, to the Golden Era and the influx of silverware that the gaffer has ushered in at Anfield.
The layout draws its inspiration from the vintage theatre/film-poster aesthetic, and the portrait format definitely supports this vibe.
The figure of Jurgen himself is the biggest challenge in this design, the text being relatively straightforward, but a two-tone text design offers an additional touch of opulence.
I will begin with some marigold coloured cotton drill which I will coat with metallic fabric spray paint before working on the design and affixing it.
