No, it’s not a typo. The Liverpudlian love affair with all things Adidas is a well-documented one, dating back to those first forays into Europe in the 1970s, and the brand with the three stripes figures front and centre in this design.
Several of my previous creations have celebrated this link in various details, big and small, and this one pays tribute in triplicate.

The banner is completed by the two biggest trophies of them all, with the respective numbers of triumphs below each one.
A simple but effective design, the large lettering is really allowed to pop from that red background.
