Taking inspiration from one of Liverpool’s greatest exports – The La’s (their incorrect apostrophe, not mine! 😂) and their most famous hit, There She Goes, this is another banner that brings together the culture of the City with its football club.
A celebration of success, current and historic, with a full collection of pots guarded by a fearsome Bird, the design phase of this project alone took about 8 hours – the claws clutching that Premier League trophy which had for so long proved elusive were particularly hard to render by hand.
The production phase has obviously taken a fair amount of time too, and the scale of the task has been overwhelming at times. I’ve just had to pick away at it for an hour here, an hour there in order to make progress. Hopefully my next project will be a simpler one!
