A tribute to the man who delivered the trophy we’d all longed for for so long, and whose instant connection with the people of our city made it possible.

To add an extra Germanic-Scouse flavour to this simple banner, the chosen font is from the catalogue of Liverpool’s other favourite German import – the brand with the three stripes. Adidas used this font for the German, French, Spanish and Argentine shirt names in the 2010 World Cup in South Africa, at a time when Klopp’s Dortmund squad was contributing several star names to the national team.
The look of the banner is a traditional layout with Liverbird and stars representing the 6 European Cup wins. A few special touches will make it stand out from the crowd.
Slightly smaller in scale than most of my banners as it is destined to hang in a particular spot in a pub, but no less work and fabric required to complete this special job.
