I am very excited to tackle this project as it includes my most elaborate and detailed trophy to date. I want it to look so good it seems like you could reach into the banner and hoist the trophy above your head. Too ambitious? We’ll see. ?
I worked on this banner when I was staying at my sister’s house for a fortnight recovering from spinal surgery. Having something to focus on helped me to keep my mind off the pain and discomfort and played an important role in my recuperation.
I put a lot of time and love into that trophy – way more time than I should have done, perhaps. I reckon my work on this banner was charged at about £5 an hour. ?
This one was more than just a job for me, though, and it also held heavy significance for the customer, as it was produced in memory of his friend who sadly didn’t live to see Hendo with the trophy. This one is for you, Karl.
