The inspiration for this one is clear – two famous nights in 1977 and 1984, and the terrace song (based on a Beautiful South classic) that celebrates a more recent memory of victory in the Eternal City.
The design is simple – the Colosseum, a star for each of the cups won in Italy, Old Big Ears and a Liverbird. I’m very excited about this one as, being a Latin teacher, Rome is a city that I have visited dozens of times and is very close to my heart.
