Crowned Champions

My most recent personal project, the inspiration for this banner was the 1987/88 title winning shirt, as worn by one of my favourite Liverpool players of all time, John Barnes.

The 1980s was the decade when I fell in love with Liverpool, and this 1987/88 season was one of the best sides ever to play the game.

In my design, I also give a nod to another obsession I share with many other Merseysiders – a love of trainers, and particularly Adidas.
