Since the 1970s, Liverpool fans have had a strong affinity with the brand with the three stripes.

That relationship only grew stronger in the late 80s and early 90s, as adidas produced the Reds’ kit, including some legendary shirt drops such as the 88-90 silver away.

This design pays tribute to that mutual love affair between Scousers and the trefoil, at a time when the Reds truly are something “spezial’.

The period-correct crest adorns the top left, while late 80s-style adidas numbering finishes off the bottom right.
